I grew up watching my dad always documenting our family. From birthdays, holidays, vacations and just simply being silly in the living room. He loved to preserve those fleeting moments, making sure those memories would last.
Because of this, I too, grew up wanting to document every moment. Starting with polaroids on vacation, point and shoot photoshoots with friends, and my first professional digital camera in high school. Throughout school and college, I knew I wasn't meant for any type of desk job. What started out as a hobby quickly turned into "wait, I can do this for a living?"
I know first hand how precious it is to have photographs of you + your loved ones. I have piles of photos of family, and thousands of photos on my phone + laptop I refuse to delete. Being able to look back at life in such an authentic way is the reason why I love this job so much.

I'm naturally a more shy + quiet person, which plays a part in how I work. I would never want to make myself the center of attention or loudly command you to do things for me. For most people, this is your first time having your photo professionally taken, and that's really nerve wracking. There's some couples who love to run around, pick each other up and roll around and there are others who would rather sit quietly on a bench while holding each other.
The most important thing to me is that you feel COMFORTABLE with me and my camera.
